Baking... macaroons

Hope you are having a wonderful start to the weekend! I am baking today for Amelie's birthday party tomorrow and having a ball. Everything is going well so far. Making macaroons for the first time and they are turning out well. Thought I'd give you a sneak peak. I am filling them with a fresh raspberry icing mix. Can't wait to eat them! Ahh Saint-Émilion I feel like I am with you again.


  1. Ooh, were they hard to make? I'd like to make them sometime, but they sort of intimidate me...

    1. Hi Erika. They were actually much easier than I thought... they used to intimidate me too. Mind you mine weren't as smooth and glossy as some, but for my first go I was pretty chuffed.
