I hope you have had a great weekend. Mine started with a pamper and shopping day Saturday followed by two birthday parties today. We now have the fire cranking and a relaxing red waiting. Have a great week.
I have been known amongst friends for being a bit of a Nanna for my love and preference of an early night in, a DVD or a good mag and a cup of green tea, rather than kicking up my heels on the dance floor (I have also started giving knitting a go, but that's another story). Don't get me wrong, I love an occasional night out, but my weekends are too precious now to be spent feeling seedy and like my body is giving up, so quiet nights are my friend. I have however, just come across a happy medium on frankie... Nanna Nights, featuring "cheap eats, board games and rad accoustic acts".What a great concept.
I always find it hard to contain my excitement after visiting the Bowerbird Bazaar. So many gorgeous things all in the one place. I came across my new favourite stationery range this time round which I must share. write to me has the most fantastic vintage images printed to kraft card and paper in the form of notebooks, letter sets, blank cards, recipe collection books, invites and the list goes on. Take a look and you'll be addicted too.
I also picked up this positive print from printspace for my daughter's bedroom. I just love it! The quote is by Henry David Thoreau... doesn't it fill your heart with such a powerful energy?! I feel a trip to IKEA coming along to buy a frame. Can't wait to hang it up. Have a great night.
The colours in the Adelaide Hills at the moment are just incredible. The deep reds, vibrant yellow and burnt orange against the rich greens just scream Autumn in the most magnificent way. I picked these gorgeous leaves following a relaxing breakfast in Stirling on Sunday.
