Cushion Love

I love me a linen cushion, and I had a slight burst of excitement when I came across these gorgeous numbers on hardtofind. The simple but cool designs from Urban Igloo Design and Don't Blame Betty will make any room smile.

Harry and Me ~ Daylesford

I mentioned Friday that we went on a little trip away to Daylesford on the Australia Day long weekend. One of the highlights for me was coming across the gorgeous Harry and Me on Vincent Street which is the main shopping strip in Daylesford. I always love a new little store to soak up. They had some stunning stock beautifully displayed. The Emily Green necklace I purchased is front and centre of the top photo. They regularly post images on their facebook page and if you like what you see they can put it in the post for you. Bonus!

Daylesford

Over the Australia Day long weekend we had a fleeting visit to Melbourne and Daylesford to catch up with relatives. Three days felt like five, it was so relaxing. I absolutely love this part of the world. Full of vintage finds, amazing food and coffee, scenery and creative minds. Not to mention a few new shops since our last visit like Harry and Me. I picked up two Emily Green accessories. The girls are lovely. They gave Amelie a little flower windmill which she adores and has put in the garden. If you haven't been yet, pop in or check them out online.

Caravan Love

Every time I come across a happy caravan story it reignites my love of and desire to restore a vintage caravan. It has happened once again. Gracing the cover of this month's Country Style is the utterly adorable Frankie. Frankie is home to Travelling Wares, a caravan pop up shop selling unique vintage finds for the home, lovingly run by Brisbane stylist, buyer and vintage wares retailer Kara Rosenlund. I am in love... again! Oh yeah, and off to get a copy of Country Style magazine.

One Small Room 'Up We Pop'

My posts have been few and far between lately. My mind has been on the beach, with perfect beach weather here in SA, although today was a tad extreme. I managed to escape the air conditioning and face the 42 degree swelter that was on offer but it was all worth it. The iconic One Small Room in Croydon has a funky little pop up shop in the city which I finally had a chance to check out today! And in true One Small Room fashion, it didn't disappoint. Their "Up We Pop" Shop is situated in amongst a cute little group of shops and cafes on Ebenezer Place down the east end of Rundle Street. They are in the process of a reno at their usual premises and so what a perfect opportunity to pop up in the city.

Paris Inspiration

I hope you've had a wonderful Festive Season so far. We had a quiet Christmas with family appreciating all of the little things, as my mother-in-law battles cancer again. At the end of the day, that is what it is all about.
Paris seemed to be the theme of my gifts this year and I have a lot of inspirational reading to do over the holidays with our next adventure in sight. It's been over 10 years since I've been to France and it is calling me again, although the paper variety will have to do just for now. Health, happy times and a little more motivation is the goal for 2013.
