J'adore simplicity

Keeping things simple is sometimes difficult to do but oh so rewarding. I have had a busy week finally doing the jobs I have been meaning to do, like fixing my husband's grandparent's buffet which has only be broken for nearly four years. Thought it was about time I restored it and displayed it how it was intended. Too dark to take pictures now. I'll share it with you tomorrow. In the meantime enjoy the stunning simplicity in this photo and check out My Scandinavian Retreat for some inspiration.

I see the light

From the first moment I spotted these gorgeous creations at the Bowerbird Bazaar I have been longing to have one of my own either in the hall or in our lounge room. The works of designer Loz Abberton from Who Did That are not only beautiful but environmentally friendly. Which one to choose, they are all so stunning.

Wonderful celebrations

I had the most wonderful weekend celebrating my birthday recently with my treasured extended family. So lucky to have such gorgeous people in my life. What a day relaxing under a big tree at Barristers Block Winery. Such a gorgeous location and a must to check out if you are in the Adelaide Hills. Pizza, wine, cheese, and hilarious fun feeling like I was a kid again. Here's cheers to that and a glorious summer filled with much the same.

J'adore... Green rug

I am absolutely loving this green rug. Wonderful pop of colour in a gorgeous room filled with natural light.
